My favorite candid shot of the month

As usual, the fall is a busy time of ball around my home. Baseball, softball, volleyball...we're there. One morning, we had a very early game. The sun was just in a terrible spot for the action shots, and I was standing in the dugout while our team was getting their gear together to go on the field, thinking about just putting the camera away. I glanced over at the catcher getting all geared up and loved the harsh shadows that problematic sun was creating when combined with the dugout roof.

Thanks, mom and dad for letting me share!

Coming back to the blog

I had been trying out another site recently, but decided after my 6 months was up, not to renew. I like the more personal feel of the blog. So I'll be returning back here as of...well, now. I took quite a bit of time off this summer with the kids. Time just seems to be flying away, they're all getting so grown up. Yeah, I know that's supposed to happen, but I don't want to miss it. I will be running some specials soon, geared at updating some of my advertising pieces. If you're in the market for some shots for your Christmas photos, give me a call!
I'll leave you with a few shots of my favorite part of this summer. It was actually last month, and we got a call out of the blue to join my SIL and her family at the beach. My husband couldn't come, so I loaded up the car and drove us all there myself. It was the perfect way to spend my birthday weekend. I can't post my very favorites though. Or else I'd have to do another photoshoot for our Christmas cards because you would have already seen the photos, and according to my son "that's not happening". But this was just me, sitting back watching my children explore. If you really want to know what the 2 oldest were looking for, it was a pair of someone's swim trunks that kept washing up into their portraits and making us laugh.
